This year, the IFFAM invited HK’s celebrated actress Carina Lau and K-pop idol Kim Jun-myeon as Talent Ambassador of the event.

Opening with the gala premiere of Taika Waititi’s “Jojo Rabbit”, the 4th edition of IFFAM will run from December 5 to 10. The satirical black comedy previously received the Grolsch People's Choice Award and Ebert Director Award in Toronto International Film Festival.

The International Competition unit comprised 10 feature films when a judging panel of 5 will determine the winners of awards including “Best Film”, “Best Director”, “Best Actor Award”, “Best Actress Award”, etc.

This year’s IFFAM will feature around 50 films, including the “20th Anniversary Macao Special Presentations” promoting local film culture in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Macao Special Administrative Region.

In addition to the new “Shorts Competition”, the 6 films of “New Chinese Cinema” will be competing for 5 awards this year. Lastly, as one of the biggest highlights of the event, the Masterclass will feature Director Kim Yong-Hwa from Korea, who will be sharing with fans his experience in film production.
